👍 Use floating bars to show ranges of data
To create the floating bar chart, follow these steps:
- Highlight the data and Insert > Chart
- In Setup, choose a Bar Chart (horizontal) or Column Chart (vertical)
- Still in the chart setup menu, set the Stacking to be “Standard”
- Go to the Customize menu
- Select the Series sub-menu
- Select the “low” series and set the fill opacity to 0% (this creates the floating bars)
- Remove the chart legend
- Customize the chart with data labels
