Webmentions are useful for capturing interactions from Twitter and other sites that support them. However, as Khurt Williams highlights, they still have limitations. Personally speaking, for sites that do not have webmentions, I usually cut and paste from my own site. First and foremost, I do this for me. Having said all that, I still think that webmentions is the most interoperable form of commenting on the web. They have revolutionised my web experience.
