💬 Reading books with characters that share the same name as kids they went to primary school with

Anybody else have real trouble reading books with characters that share the same name as kids they went to primary school with? Like “how can I take you seriously as a romantic lead when you picked your nose so much” or “you can’t save the world, I saw you eat an eraser” etc
